이 교수의 연구실은 메타학습과 분산학습 기반의 개인화된 인공지능 기술 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 소수의 데이터로도 빠르게 적응할 수 있는 모델링 기법(MAML 등)과 페더레이티드 러닝을 통해 데이터 이질성 속에서도 높은 성능을 내는 개인화 모델을 연구하고 있습니다. 의료 분야의 실시간 피드백 시스템(스마트워치 기반 CPR 피드백, 스마트폰 앱 기반 CPR 교육) 및 의료 영상 진단(흉부 엑스레이 기반 동맥류 진단)에도 응용 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.
