Dynamic product reconfiguration refers to making changes to a deployed product configuration while a system is running. Recently, there have been increasing demands for dynamic product reconfiguration in various application areas (e.g., ubiquitous computing, self-healing systems, etc.); however, most product line engineering methods in the literature have focused on the development of reusable core assets for statically configured products. In this paper, we propose a feature-oriented approach t
We demonstrate that nicotine is a potent inducer of NETosis, which may play an important role in accelerating arthritis in the CIA model. This study generates awareness of and the mechanisms by which nicotine-containing products, including e-cigarettes, may have deleterious effects on patients with RA.
Service Orientation (SO) is a relevant promising candidate for accommodating rapidly changing user needs and expectations. Adopting SO in practice for real software and system development, however, has uncovered several chal-lenging issues, such as how to identify services, determining configurations of services that are relevant to users' current context, and maintaining system integrity after configuration changes. In this paper, we propose a method that addresses these issues by adapting a fe
Software product line engineering (SPLE) is a paradigm of software reuse for developing a family of products with reduced time to market and improved quality. Most SPLE approaches, however, have focused on developing statically configured products using core assets. That is, all variations are instantiated before a product is delivered to the customers, making it difficult for them to make any changes to the product. However, various application areas are increasing the demand for dynamic produc

Hyperuricemia is an emerging potential biomarker for metabolic syndrome (MetS) and its complications. This study aimed to investigate the risk factors of hyperuricemia, particularly, the association of hyperuricemia with MetS and general obesity according to sex. We performed multivariate logistic regression analyses using the 2016 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data. Hyperuricemia was defined by a serum uric acid level ≥7.0 mg/dL for men and ≥6.0 mg/dL for women. Genera
Abstract Estimates of the slope of the Phillips curve reported in the literature cover a range from roughly − 0.6 to zero depending on specification. Forward‐looking specifications, favored by theory, produce the smallest slope estimates. This paper addresses this puzzle by studying the bivariate process of inflation and unemployment in a fairly general unobserved components framework allowing for stochastic trends and related cycles. Analysis reveals that the slope of the implied Phillips curve
Tubastatin A successfully ameliorated synovial inflammation and protected against joint destruction in CAIA mice, at least in part, by modulating IL-6 expression.
A service-oriented approach that combines feature-oriented analysis with a self- managing quality-of-service framework addresses the challenges associated with dynamic software product lines.
