Jae-Yong Park 교수의 연구실은 주로 암 발생 메커니즘과 관련된 유전적 소인 및 세포 사멸 경로에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 캐스페이스-9, 클러스터린, COX-2 등의 유전자 다형성과 암 유병률 간의 연관성을 밝혀내는 분자유전자학적 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 난소암, 폐암, 위암 등에서의 유전자 및 미생물군집 변화를 분석합니다. 또한 뇌에서의 14-3-3γ 단백질의 기능과 관련된 신경계 질환 연구를 통해 뇌 발달 및 병태생리학적 메커니즘을 탐구하고 있습니다.
