정지헌 교수 연구실은 주로 간엽줄기세포(Mesenchymal Stromal Cells, MSCs)의 세포 치료 임상적 응용을 위한 기반 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 3차원 배양를 통해 세포 생존율과 면역조절 기능이 향상되는 메커니즘을 규명하고 있으며, 이는 만성 염증성 질환 및 조직 손상 치료에 응용될 수 있습니다. 연구는 자가면역질환, 퇴행성 질환 등에서의 MSC 기반 치료 전략 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.
