이 교수의 연구실은 주로 자가면역질환과 간질성 폐질환의 생물학적 마커 및 면역학적 기전을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히, KL-6과 같은 생체마커의 임상적 의미와 함께, 면역세포의 동적 변화를 단일세포 유전자발현 분석을 통해 분석함으로써 질병의 진행 메커니즘을 해부하고자 합니다. 또한, 줄기세포의 분화 조절 및 면역세포의 동결보존이 유전자 발현에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 기초적 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.
