이 교수의 연구실은 고도로 전문화된 타겟 치료 및 면역요법을 중심으로 한 비소세포성 폐암, 유방암 등 흔한 암 종양의 분자적 기전과 치료 내성 메커니즘을 규명하고 있습니다. 특히 HER2, EGFR, ALK/ROS1, RET, KRAS 등 암 관련 유전자 변이를 가진 환자군을 대상으로 한 표적치료제의 임상적 유효성과 내성 원인을 분석하며, 뇌전이 등 치료 난이도가 높은 병변에 대비한 혁신적 치료 전략 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 또한 다양한 인종 간 치료 반응의 유사성과 차이를 분석함으로써 개인화된 암 치료의 정착을 위한 근거를 마련하고 있습니다.
