이 교수의 연구실은 주로 신경재생 및 손상 복구 분야에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 특히 외상성 말초신경 손상 치료를 위한 조직공학적 신경가이드 컨duit 개발과 그 임상적 응용에 대한 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 또한, 인공 신경 이식물의 개선과 함께, 저소비 전력의 단일 관절 센서 기반의 보행 분석 기술을 통해 재활 평가 및 운동 기능 회복을 위한 정밀한 모니터링 기법도 개발하고 있습니다. 최근에는 식품 중 항산화 물질 오염 모니터링과 같은 생물안전성 분야의 연구도 함께 수행하고 있습니다.

A survey for aflatoxin B(1) (AFB(1)) was conducted on 88 food-grade rice samples randomly collected during July and August 2002 in Seoul, Korea. This study investigates the role of extracellular SOD (EC-SOD), the major extracellular antioxidant enzyme, in skeletal muscle ischemia and reperfusion (I/R) injury.
