이 교수의 연구실은 면역치료 반응 예측과 합성 치명성 기반 신약 타겟 발굴을 핵심으로 하는 첨단 생물정보학 연구를 수행합니다. 다양한 종양에서의 PD-1/PD-L1 치료 반응을 규명하고, TCGA 데이터를 기반으로 임상적으로 유의미한 합성 치명성 상호작용를 식별하는 데이터 기반 접근법을 개발합니다. 특히, 실험적 스크리닝 결과를 임상 적용 가능성이 높은 후보로 정제하는 ISLE 플랫폼을 통해 암 치료의 정밀의료를 선도하고 있습니다.

That we know of, this is the first systematic evaluation of the different variables associated with anti-PD-1/PD-L1 therapy response across different tumor types. The findings suggest that the 3 key variables can explain most of the observed cross-cancer response variability, but their relative explanatory roles may vary in specific cancer types.
While synthetic lethality (SL) holds promise in developing effective cancer therapies, SL candidates found via experimental screens often have limited translational value. Here we present a data-driven approach, ISLE (identification of clinically relevant synthetic lethality), that mines TCGA cohort to identify the most likely clinically relevant SL interactions (cSLi) from a given candidate set of lab-screened SLi.
