This research showed that new teaching and learning methods designed to improve critical thinking were generally effective at enhancing critical thinking dispositions.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore experiences among undergraduate nursing students in a high-fidelity simulation education course for a semester. The present findings advance prior knowledge by considering variables such as physical and cognitive activity levels to provide novel evidence that can be used to develop interventions for community-dwelling older adults. Thus, to be effective, nursing interventions must seek to improve cognitive function through intellectual stimulation.
