Junjeong Choi 교수의 연구실은 유방암의 분자아형에 따른 대사 변화와 단백질 발현 패atters를 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 HER-2 급성형 및 삼중음성 유방암(TNBC)의 대사 재편과 관련된 히포-1α, IGF-1, MIF, GLUT-1, CAIX 등의 단백질 발현을 분석하며, 암의 대사적 특성과 치료 반응성 간의 연관성을 규명하고자 합니다. 또한 유방암의 세분화된 분류(예: 베이스라인, 분비형, 클라우딘 저항형)와 세포형태학적 특성(예: 피하유두종, 분비성 유방암)에 대한 조직형광 및 세침검사 기반 진단의 정확성 향상에도 기여하고 있습니다.

We identified different patterns of expression of metabolism-related proteins according to the molecular subtypes of breast cancer defined by surrogate immunohistochemistry. Increased expression of HIF-1α, IGF-1, and MIF was noted in HER-2 type breast cancer and increased expression of Glut-1 and CAIX was noted in TNBC type breast cancer, especially in the basal-like subtype, which exhibited a glycolytic and acid-resistant tumor phenotype.

We analyzed histopathological features of core needle biopsy (CNB) and surgical excision specimen comparatively in 129 patients with surgically proven phyllodes tumor (PT). Stromal characteristics including cellularity, atypia, mitosis, overgrowth, tissue fragmentation, and the tumor margin were assessed.
