Kamrul Islam 교수의 연구실은 숲 생태계의 보존 및 지속가능한 관리에 중점을 두고 있으며, 주로 숲 생태계의 변화 추세, 산림 공동관리 제도의 효과성, 탄소 저장 모델링 등을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 랜드 코트 변화 분석, 원격 감지 기반 공간 분석, 지역 사회 참여형 산림 관리 모델 평가에 강점을 지닙니다. 연구는 주로 방글라데시의 자연 보호구역과 지역 사회의 상호작용을 중심으로 실시되며, 기후 변화 대응 및 생물다양성 보전과 연계된 실용적 연구를 추구합니다.

The degraded Chunati wildlife sanctuary (CWS) has undergone various land use changes since 1980s.
