Kangmo Ahn 교수의 연구실은 환경 오염물질, 특히 미세먼지(PM2.5)와 화학물질(프탈레이트 등)이 피부 장벽 기능과 알레르기성 질환에 미치는 영향을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 피부 장벽 단백질인 필라그린의 분해 및 기능 저하 메커니즘을 분석함으로써 외부 환경 요인과 피부질환 간의 인과관계를 규명하고자 하며, 아동을 대상으로 한 대규모 역학 조사와 함께 분자생물학적 기법을 융합한 종합적 연구를 수행하고 있습니다.
