이 교수의 연구실은 농업 폐기물인 가축분뇨와 산림자원을 활용한 고부가가치 생물량체(생분유) 및 친환경 비료 개발에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 주로 고온처리 기술인 피로리시스, 수열탄화(HTC), 산화 토레플라션 등을 응용해 토양 개선과 영양소의 천천히 방출 가능한 생분유 및 비료를 제작하는 데 중점을 두고 있으며, 환경 오염 저감과 자원 순환을 동시에 추구합니다. 특히, 비료의 효율성 향상과 공정의 지속 가능성 확보를 위해 원료 다각화와 공정 최적화를 지속적으로 연구하고 있습니다.
