Kentaro Jingushi 교수의 연구실은 신장세포암세포의 미세환경 형성과 전이 메커니즘을 규명하기 위해, 수술 절제 조직에서 직접 추출한 조직배출형 외소포(TE-EVs)를 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히, 암세포가 분비하는 외소포에 포함된 단백질(예: AZU1, LAIR1)과 비코딩 RNA(miR-629, miR-122)의 기능과 생물학적 역할을 분석하여, 신장세포암의 조기 진단 및 표적 치료 전략 개발에 기여하고자 합니다. 또한 혈액 내 세균성 미생물군집과 외소포의 상관관계를 탐색하며, 암과 관련된 혈액 미생물군의 기원과 기전을 규명하는 새로운 분야의 연구도 전개하고 있습니다.
