오카 호우치로 교수의 연구실은 행동과학과 생물학적 기초를 융합한 연구를 중심으로, 신체 활동 증진, 건강 행동 변화, 만성질환 예방을 위한 비약리적 간섭 전략을 탐구합니다. 특히 고령층 및 중년층을 대상으로 한 운동 행동의 단계적 변화 모델(TTM)과 자기효능감의 관계, 애완동물이 신체활동에 미치는 영향 등 실생활 건강행동 개선 전략을 실험적·정성적 방법으로 분석합니다. 또한, 신종 코로나바이러스 감염증 확산 이후 근무 방식 변화가 신체활동과 앉아서 생활하는 행동에 미치는 영향을 장기적 관점에서 연구하고 있습니다.

A nonpeptide opioid was found in toad skin and purified to homogeneity by using HPLC with electrochemical detection. A nonpeptide opioid also was detected in bovine brain and adrenals as well as rabbit and rat skin, by reversed-phase HPLC following Sephadex G-15 column chromatography. The material in toad skin was identical to morphine by immunological, pharmacological, and physical chemical criteria.
The dog owners had higher physical activity levels than owners of other kinds of pets and those without any pets, suggesting that dogs may play a major role in promoting physical activity. However, only 30% of the dog owners met the recommended criteria for physical activity.
