Kumar Bhatta 교수의 연구실은 농촌 개발과 지속 가능한 관광을 융합한 연구를 중심으로, 특히 개발도상국에서의 농업관광(CBAT)의 잠재력과 실천 가능성을 탐구합니다. 농가의 참여 의지, 품질 관리, 여성 참여, 금융 지원 등 농촌 경제 활성화를 위한 정책적 요인을 분석하며, 코로나19 패안 시기의 디지털 관광 기술(가상현실 기반 투어)의 역할도 함께 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 네팔과 폴란드를 비교 대상으로 하여 농촌 관광의 사회경제적 영향과 여가 결정 요인을 다룹니다.
