Kwang-Jae Kim 교수의 연구실은 다응답 최적화, 품질 기반 설계, 제품-서비스 시스템(PSS) 혁신 설계 등 제조 및 서비스 분야의 체계적 최적화를 중심으로 연구를 전개하고 있습니다. 특히 다응답 문제에 대한 모델 구축 없이도 효율적으로 최적의 설계 조건을 도출할 수 있는 MR-PRIM 같은 혁신적 알고리즘 개발에 주력하고 있으며, 품질기능전개(QFD) 및 스프레드시트 기반 최적화 도구를 활용한 실용적 응용도 강조합니다. 연구는 산업 현장의 복잡한 데이터 환경에 대응하기 위해 유연하고 신뢰성 있는 의사결정 지원 체계를 목표로 합니다.

SUMMARY A modelling approach to optimize a multiresponse system is presented. The approach aims to identify the setting of the input variables to maximize the degree of overall satisfaction with respect to all the responses. An exponential desirability functional form is suggested to simplify the desirability function assessment process.
