Kyoung Jun Song 교수의 연구실은 심폐소생술과 신속한 중재 치료의 유효성에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 특히 외부에서 발생한 심정지 환자에서 ECPR(체외소생술)의 조기 시행이 생존에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 있습니다. 아시아 지역의 응급구조체계(EMS) 간 격차가 부상 환자 치료 결과에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 체계적인 연구를 진행하고 있으며, 특히 다국적·다중기관 연구를 통해 표준화되지 않은 진료 기준의 영향을 규명하고자 합니다. 이는 향후 전국적·국제적 지침 수립의 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있습니다.

Early initiation of ECPR is associated with improved survival after OHCA. Because we analysed a nationwide OHCA registry, which lacks uniform selection criteria for ECPR, further prospective study is warranted.

Substantial variability exists in EMS systems in Asia, especially for injured patients. Futures studies are required to assess the impact of this variability on patient outcomes.
