Kyung Soo Chung 교수의 연구실은 세포외 소포를 활용한 혁신적 약물 전달 시스템 개발과 면역조절 치료 전략을 핵심으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히, optogenetic 기반의 엑소좀 시스템(EXPLOR)을 통해 항염증 단백질을 고도로 탑재한 치료용 엑소좀을 설계하여 염증성 질환 치료에 응용하고 있습니다. 또한, 세균성 패혈증 등 중증 질환에서의 대사 변화와 출혈성 장애의 분자 기전에 대한 기초 연구도 병행하고 있습니다.
