Liying Yao 교수의 연구실은 주로 고체 상태의 분자 구조와 상호작용을 정밀하게 분석하는 결정학적 연구를 중심으로 하며, 특히 유기 화합물의 결정 구조와 취약한 분자 간 상호작용(C—H…O 결합 등)이 고체 상태에서 어떻게 배열되고 영향을 미치는지를 연구합니다. 실험적 결정학 기반의 고해상도 구조 해석을 통해 물질의 거시적 성질을 미세 구조 수준에서 이해하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 연구는 주로 크리스탈 구조 해석 및 CSD(Cambridge Structural Database) 기반 데이터 분석을 활용합니다.

The title compound, C 15 H 16 O 3 , has two molecules in the asymmetric unit. The cyclohex-2-enone ring has an envelope conformation in both molecules. The crystal exhibits twinning. The molecular packing in the crystal structure is determined by weak intermolecular C—H...O interactions.
