Mami Ishikuro 교수의 연구실은 산전 및 산후 건강, 가족 중심의 유전 epidemiology, 병원 내 환자 안전, 재난 후 아동 건강 평가를 중심으로 한 다학제적 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 특히 임신 중 혈압 변화와 가족 단위의 유전·환경 요인 분석을 통해 만성질환의 원인을 규명하고자 하며, 재난 이후 아동의 장기적 건강 영향을 지속적으로 모니터링하는 데에도 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 병원 내 환자 낙상 예방 전략 수립과 같은 실무적 응용 연구도 함께 진행하고 있습니다.

Patient falls are common adverse medical events in hospitals. The objectives of this study were to clarify the factors of patient falls at hospitalization or transfer to another ward, which could be assumed that patients experience new environment. Patients who were hospitalized or transferred to another ward at a hospital in Japan, between January 14 and February 14, 2014 were included. We used a risk assessment sheet and applied stepwise regression analysis to identify factors of patient falls
Our study indicates that experiencing the disaster may have affected the health status of nursery school children at least up to 1.5 years after the disaster. Continuous monitoring of the health status of children is necessary to develop strategic plans for child health.
