마사토 요시하라 교수의 연구실은 난소암의 복강 전이 메커니즘을 중심으로, 복막 미세환경과 종양 세포 간의 상호작용을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 메소티얼 세포의 전위화가 전이를 촉진하는 메커니즘과 비타민 D를 통한 세포 상태 복원 전략, 지방세포가 암 전이에 미치는 영향 등 복강 내 종양 미세환경의 역학을 연구하고 있습니다. 이는 난소암의 치료 난이도를 높이는 복막 전이를 억제할 수 있는 새로운 치료 전략 개발을 목표로 합니다.
