Miji Kim 교수의 연구실은 노화와 관련된 신체 기능 저하, 특히 사르코페니아와 취약성의 기전과 생체어림표지 및 생체정보를 활용한 정밀 진단에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 주로 한국 노화 및 건강 코hort 연구 자료를 기반으로, 근육량, 지방량, 신체기능, 인지기능 간의 상관관계를 분석하며, 임상에서 활용 가능한 간이 측정법의 타당성과 적용 가능성을 탐색하고 있습니다. 특히, DXA 기반 정밀 측정과 비교해 실용적인 대체 도구 개발에 기여하고 있습니다.
