김명규 교수의 연구실은 정수론과 이차형식, 특히 다각수수(다각형수)와 관련된 표현 문제를 중심으로 연구를 전개합니다. 삼각수, 오각수 등 일반화된 다각수수를 기반으로 한 선형 결합이 모든 충분히 큰 정수를 표현할 수 있는 조건을 규명하며, 정규형식(regular forms)과 관련된 문제를 깊이 있게 다룹니다. 특히, 삼각수 기반의 다항식이 모든 양의 정수를 표현할 수 있는 조건을 완전히 규명하고, 정수의 국소 표현과 전역 표현 간의 관계를 분석합니다. 이와 더불어, 삼차원 이차형식의 정규성과 오드-정규성(odd-regularity)에 관한 최대 수의 후보를 제한하고, 이들의 정규성을 증명하는 데 초점을 맞춥니다.

Abstract. The coverage of regional ionosphere maps is determined by the distribution of ground-based monitoring stations, e.g., GNSS receivers. Since ionospheric delay has a high spatial correlation, ionosphere map coverage can be extended using spatial extrapolation methods. This paper proposes a support vector machine (SVM) to extrapolate the ionosphere map data with solar and geomagnetic parameters.
