Minsoo Park 교수의 연구실은 인공지능과 컴퓨터 비전 기술을 활용해 재난 대응 및 안전 분야의 실질적 문제를 해결하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 건설 현장의 작업자 감시, 산불 조기 탐지 및 모니터링, 기후 변화로 인한 열파 피해 예측 등 실생활 응용에 기여하는 지능형 시스템 개발을 주요 연구 방향으로 삼고 있습니다. 데이터 불균형, 소형 및 겹치는 목표물 탐지, 다중 레이블 분류 등 기술적 과제에 대비한 딥러닝 기반의 혁신적 모델 설계도 활발히 진행되고 있습니다.

We formulate a model that captures the inter-dependence between hardware demand and software supply – indirect network effect – in the DVD industry. The identification of the network effect comes from the difference in software availability across two different formats: VHS and DVD. We find that a 1% increase in the number of DVD titles raises the demand for DVD players by 0.87%.
