오카다 나오키 교수의 연구실은 면역세포 기반 암 치료, 특히 CAR-T 세포와 dendritic 세포를 활용한 항암면역요법의 기전과 효능 향상을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히 CAR의 도메인 설계가 면역세포 기반 치료의 안전성과 효과에 미치는 영향을 구조-기능 관계 관점에서 규명하고 있으며, 유전자 전달 벡터를 활용한 항원 제시 및 면역세포 유도 전략도 개발하고 있습니다. 또한 종양 미세환경 내 면역세포 유입을 유도하기 위한 화학유인단의 응용도 연구하고 있습니다.
