나오후지 마츠다 교수의 연구실은 세균성 패혈증과 다중장기 기능 저하 증후군의 분자 기전을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 특히 내피 기능 이상, 사형유전자 경로(FADD), NF-kappaB 신호 전달 경로, 그리고 베타-아드레날린 수용체 반응성 저하 등에서 나타나는 세포 사멸 및 염증 반응의 분자 메커니즘을 중심으로 기초 의학적 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 또한, FADD siRNA나 NF-kappaB 디코이 오ligo와 같은 유전자 치료 전략의 임상적 응용 가능성에 대해서도 탐구하고 있습니다.

In recent years, extensive basic science research has led to a clear understanding of the molecular mechanisms contributing to the pathophysiology of sepsis. Because there is extensive apoptosis of vascular endothelial cells in sepsis, we examined whether the death receptor pathway of apoptotic signaling is altered in thoracic aortas from mice with polymicrobial sepsis, as produced by cecal ligation and puncture (CLP).
