이 연구실은 도시 생태계와 해안 생태계의 지속 가능성에 초점을 맞추며, 특히 도시 녹지 접근성, 도시 생물다양성, 블루카본 생태계(마른초, 갈초, 망고로브 등)의 변화 및 관리 정책의 효과성에 대해 다룹니다. 주로 사회경제적 요인, 정책의 현장 적용, 지역 주민의 시각을 통합한 정량적·정성적 연구를 통해 생태계 서비스와 사회적 형평성의 연계성을 탐구합니다. 특히 동남아시아 지역, 특히 필리핀과 인도네시아의 해안 지역을 중심으로 현장 조사와 정책 분석을 융합한 연구를 진행하고 있습니다.
