Sang Do Shin 교수의 연구실은 심혈관계 질환과 외상, 중독 사망 등 공중보건적 문제에 초점을 맞춘 역학적 연구를 수행합니다. 특히 콜레스테롤 수치와 심혈관질환 사망 간의 연관성, 응급의료체계의 지역적 격차, 그리고 중독 사망의 인구집단적 특성 분석을 통해 정책적 시사점을 도출하고자 합니다. 또한, 농약 금지 정책의 공중보건적 영향 평가나 응급현장에서의 진단 성능 평가 등 실질적인 정책 개선을 위한 연구도 진행 중입니다.
