Sang Wook Son 교수의 연구실은 주로 피부질환, 특히 아토피 피부염, 건선 등 만성 염증성 피부질환의 분자 기전을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. IL-33과 TSLP의 상호작용, HIF-1α와 BMP6 간의 조절 메커니즘, 그리고 면역세포(예: NK세포)의 표면 수용체 변화 등에서 염증 반응의 조절 원리를 탐구하고 있습니다. 또한 나노입자(예: 음성 금속 나노입자)의 피부 침투 메커니즘과 레이저 치료, 헬리코박터 파일로리 제거 치료 등 임상적 응용도 함께 연구하고 있습니다.
