Sang-Uk Han 교수의 연구실은 위암을 비롯한 암의 대사 변화와 생물학적 기전을 규명하는 데 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 특히 유기산 대사 프로파일링과 혈중 혼합성장인자(HGF) 농도 변화를 통해 암의 진행 상황을 생물학적 지표로 활용하고자 합니다. 또한 수술적 치료 결과의 안정성과 장기 예후에 대한 분석을 통해 위암 치료 전략의 최적화를 도모하고 있습니다. 최근에는 산업화된 건설 공정에서의 품질 향상을 위해 증강현실(AR) 기반의 시각화 및 정위 등록 기술을 개발하여 건축·설비 관리 분야에 응용하고 있습니다.

Hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) can promote proliferation of many types of tumor cells including gastric cancer cells.
