Seitaro Fujishima 교수의 연구실은 폐질환, 특히 폐섬유토포시스(IPF), 급성호흡곤란증후군(ARDS), 세균성 패혈증 등에서 면역세포와 염증 매개물질의 역할을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 주로 IL-8, CCL22, MMP-7와 같은 사이토카인 및 효소의 발현 및 기능을 분석하여 폐 조직 손상과 병리적 변화의 분자 기전을 규명하고자 합니다. 특히 호산구, 호산구세포, 수용체 억제제를 통한 면역조절 메커니즘 등에 대한 기초 및 임상 연계 연구를 지속하고 있습니다.
