Seok-Min Kang 교수의 연구실은 신경암(글리오블라스토마)의 침습성과 생존율에 영향을 미치는 칼슘 이온 신호전달 경로를 중심으로 암 생물학과 약물 재창출 전략을 연구하고 있습니다. 특히 IP3 수용체를 표적으로 삼아 카페인과 트리플로페라진 같은 기존 약물의 항암 효과를 규명하며, 심부전 환자에서의 혈관 수축 및 심장 기능 개선 효과도 함께 탐색하고 있습니다. 또한 열환경에 의한 가금류의 생리적 반응과 혈관 신생화 과정에서 레프틴이 유도하는 염증 및 혈관 형성 신호 경로의 기전에 대해서도 기초 생물학적 메커니즘을 규명하고 있습니다.

We found that SV could safely reduce the hsTnT and sST2 levels and improve LVEF in HFrEF patients with ESRD. As far as we know, this is the first study to show the efficacy and safety of SV in HFrEF with ESRD on dialysis. Larger prospective, long-term follow-up study should be warranted.
This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of temperature-humidity index (THI) on the mortality and the panting rates in hens exposed to varying thermal environments.
