이 교수의 연구실은 소화기내 endoscopy 및 관상동맥 조영술 등 진단 및 치료적 내 endoscopy 분야에서의 임상적 연구를 중심으로 하며, 특히 대장암, 위암 등 소화기계 종양의 조기 진단 및 내 endoscopy 기반 치료 전략 개발에 중점을 두고 있습니다. 또한, 병변의 해부학적 특성과 영상 유형을 기반으로 한 정밀의료 전략 수립과 장기적인 항응고 요법의 최적화에 관한 연구도 진행하고 있습니다. 특히, 내 endoscopy의 기술적 학습 곡선과 안전성 향상을 위한 교육 모델 개발에도 관심을 기울이고 있습니다.

The incidence of colorectal cancer has been increasing in the developed world including South Korea and China. Colonoscopy allows for greater diagnostic specificity and sensitivity compared with other types of examinations, such as the stool occult blood test, barium enema, and computed tomography colonography.
