Shoki Kosai 교수의 연구실은 자원 순환과 지속가능성 기반의 자동차 및 에너지 시스템 평가를 핵심으로 하며, 특히 전기차, 원자력 에너지, 철새 등에서 발생하는 자원 사용과 환경 영향을 종합적으로 분석합니다. TMR(Total Material Requirement)를 활용한 자원 고갈 및 광산 활동에 의한 토양 간섭 평가, 그리고 마이크로파를 활용한 철새 정련 기술 등 자원 효율성 향상 기술에 대한 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히, 생명주기 평가(LCA)와 자원 공급 보안을 융합한 정책 기반의 평가 모델 개발에도 주력하고 있습니다.
