Shuhei Kobayashi 교수의 연구실은 면역세포의 대사 조절, 특히 지방산 수용단백질(FABP)이 면역 반응과 염증에 미치는 영향을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. IκB 가족 단백질과 FABP5, FABP3 등이 T세포, 자연살해세포, 플라즈마세포, 전구세포 등 다양한 면역세포의 기능과 분화에 미치는 영향을 분자생물학적·유전자적 접근을 통해 규명하고 있습니다. 또한, 비만, 자가면역질환, 폐염증, 상처 치유 등 다양한 생리적·병리적 상태에서의 대사-면역 상호작용 메커니즘을 탐구하고 있습니다.
