김우수 교수의 연구실은 세포 내 소포체 운반과 자가포식 경로를 중심으로, 세포의 내재적 분해 및 면역 반응 조절 메커니즘을 규명하고 있습니다. 특히 자가포식체의 형성과 운반, 그리고 장내 면역 조직에서 항원을 포집하는 특수 세포인 M세포의 분화 및 기능 조절 메커니즘을 다룹니다. 라이소좀과의 융합, 마이크로튜부 기반 운동, RANKL-RelB 신호전달 경로 등 다양한 세포내 운반 및 신호 전달 체계를 분석함으로써, 면역 및 대사 질환의 기전을 밝히는 데 기여하고 있습니다.
