Si Gao 교수의 연구실은 나노구조 금속 및 소재의 다공성, 미세구조 및 기계적 거동을 고해상도로 분석하는 데 중점을 두고 있습니다. 전자 페르티코그래피와 톰로그래피 기반 3차원 구조 분석, 나노미세구조 제어를 통한 기계적 거동 해석 등 고해상도 이미징 및 미세구조-기계적 성질 상관관계 연구를 핵심으로 합니다. 특히 초미세 및 나노그레인 금속에서의 응력-변형 거동, Bauschinger 효과, Hall-Petch 관계의 변화를 중심으로 기계적 거동의 기초 메커니즘을 규명하고 있습니다.
