Sun Young Rha 교수의 연구실은 대장암의 전이 메커니즘을 규명하기 위해 유전자 발현 프로파일링을 기반으로 한 분자 생물학적 연구를 주요 방향으로 삼고 있습니다. 특히 원발 종양과 간 전이성 종양 간의 유전자 발현 차이를 분석하여 전이 과정에서 핵심적인 역할을 하는 유전자 및 신호전달 경로를 규명하고자 합니다. 이는 대장암 환자의 생존율 향상과 맞춤형 치료 전략 개발에 기여할 수 있습니다.

Liver metastasis is one of the major causes of death in colorectal cancer (CRC) patients. To understand this process, we investigated whether the gene expression profiling of matched colorectal carcinomas and liver metastases could reveal key molecular events involved in tumor progression and metastasis.
