성혜공 교수의 연구실은 골다공로시스 및 골절 위험 예측을 중심으로, 영상의학, 생체정보, 임상 데이터를 융합한 인공지능 기반 예측 모델 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 특히, TBS(세밀한 뼈조직 구조 평가), FRAX와 같은 기존 예측 도구를 넘어 딥러닝 기반 영상 분석 알고리즘(DepthSurv 등)을 활용한 개인 맞춤형 골절 위험 평가에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 또한, 비만성 당뇨병 환자나 저위험도의 미세갑상비암성 갑상선암 환자에서의 생존율 및 삶의 질 영향을 분석하며 임상적 의사결정 지원 모델을 개발하고 있습니다.
