Sung Reul Kim 교수의 연구실은 생체재료의 표면 기능화 및 생체적합성 향상을 위한 표면 처리 기술에 중점을 두고 있으며, 특히 PTFE와 같은 생체재료의 화학적 에칭, 플라즈마 처리 및 이온 비드 처리를 통해 표면 에너지와 부착 강도를 향상시키는 데 연구를 집중하고 있습니다. 또한 인간 유축 내 환경오염물질(PAHs, VOCs)의 정량 분석을 통해 어린이의 노출 위험을 평가하고, 간호사의 정서적 웰빙과 직무 스트레스, 공감 피로, 봉사 만족도 등 정서적 요인과의 상관관계를 분석하여 간호사의 정신건강을 향상시키기 위한 통합적 간호 지원 프로그램 개발을 목표로 하고 있습니다.

Nurses' well-being should be assessed along with resilience, gratitude disposition, burnout, compassion satisfaction and job satisfaction. To improve the well-being of clinical nurses, systematic and integrated intervention programmes need to be developed and applied, with consideration for a variety of factors related to well-being.
Because understanding patients' perceptions of their fall risk is essential for preventing falls, it is necessary to regularly assess patients' fall risk perception using tools with established reliability and validity.
The findings suggest that the integrated self-management program that was implemented in this study could be a potentially effective intervention to improve the self-management of hemodialysis patients. Further research on various nursing intervention programs is warranted, including a mobile application program to improve hemodialysis patients' self-management.
