미요모토 쓰누무 교수의 연구실은 뇌졸중, 특히 모야모야병과 뇌동맥류를 중심으로 한 cerebrovascular 질환의 진단 및 치료 전략을 연구하고 있습니다. 주로 뇌혈류 역학, 혈관 재편성 수술(예: EC-IC shunt), 그리고 보조 치료의 효과를 다각도로 평가하는 임상 연구를 수행하며, 특히 모야모야병 환자의 후두부 혈류 개선과 시각 장애 개선에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다. 최근에는 일본 뇌졸중학회 지침 개정과 연계된 다기관 임상시험을 통해 치료의 근거를 강화하고 있습니다.

The revised Japan Stroke Society Guidelines for the Treatment of Stroke were published in Japanese in July 2021. In this article, the extracted recommendation statements are published. Eighty-two cases of cerebrovascular moyamoya disease were studied by cerebral angiography and computerized tomography. The involvement of the posterior circulation in moyamoya disease was studied in 178 patients. Forty-three had several types of disturbance such as visual field defect, decreased visual acuity, episodes of blindness, and scintillating scotomata. This article summarizes the study design and organization of a multicenter, prospective randomized trial of extracranial-intracranial (EC-IC) bypass for treating adult patients with moyamoya disease who suffered episodes of intracranial bleeding.
