Tae Seok Seo 교수의 연구실은 나노소재 기반의 생물의학 및 분석 기술 개발을 핵심으로 하며, 그래핀 양자점, 그래핀 스폰지, 그래핀 기반 나노복합체 등 다양한 그래핀 유도체를 합성하고 응용합니다. 특히, 고감도 생체검출을 위한 랩온디스크 기반 분자진단 장치와 광분해 가능 형광 뉴클레오타이드를 활용한 다색 DNA 시퀀싱 기술 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 이는 의료진단, 식중독 검출, 유전자 분석 분야에서의 실용적 응용을 목표로 합니다.

Pristine graphene quantum dots and graphene oxide quantum dots are synthesized by chemical exfoliation from the graphite nanoparticles with high uniformity in terms of shape (circle), size (less than 4 nm), and thickness (monolayer). The origin of the blue and green photoluminescence of GQDs and GOQDs is attributed to intrinsic and extrinsic energy states, respectively.
Abstract A simple method to prepare large‐scale graphene sponges and free‐standing graphene films using a speed vacuum concentrator is presented. During the centrifugal evaporation process, the graphene oxide (GO) sheets in the aqueous suspension are assembled to generate network‐linked GO sponges or a series of multilayer GO films, depending on the temperature of a centrifugal vacuum chamber. In this study, we developed a centrifugal direct recombinase polymerase amplification (direct-RPA) microdevice for multiplex and real-time identification of food poisoning bacteria contaminated milk samples. The microdevice was designed to contain identical triplicate functional units and each unit has four reaction chambers, thereby making it possible to perform twelve direct-RPA reactions simultaneously. The integrated microdevice consisted of two layers: RPA reagents were injected in the top
