These results suggest that GLP-1 inhibits hepatic steatosis and inflammation through the inhibition of hepatic FFA influx and oxidative stress in a non-obese NASH model.
Several factors of oligometastases and SBRT affected LC. LC of pulmonary oligometastases by SBRT showed a significant survival benefit compared to patients with local failure.
SBRT resulted in good LC and tolerable treatment-related toxicities. Tumor origin and tumor diameter are significant independent predictors for both overall survival and local control.
Pleural attachment status on a pretreatment CT image might be an important predictor of LRC and FFP.
Significant renal atrophic change was observed. Dose distribution of SBRT at 20-30 Gy had a strong correlation with renal atrophy when irradiation was performed in 10 fractions.
Lipomembranous changes are histological findings without specific clinical correlations, and are thought to be related to vascular impairment in fatty tissue. We describe a case of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in which subcutaneous induration of the lower leg showed lipomembranous changes and calcification. This patient showed thrombophilia with thrombosis of the femoral and iliac veins, and cerebellar and myocardial infarction. A biopsy specimen from the subcutaneous tissue surrounding th
This study is a subset analysis of a retrospective multicenter study performed in Japan and its purpose was to investigate the effectiveness of stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for pulmonary oligometastases from colorectal cancer. Local control (LC), freedom from further metastases, relapse-free survival and overall survival (OS) after SBRT were retrospectively analyzed. The Kaplan-Meier method was used to estimate lifetime data and the log-rank test was performed as univariate analyses. Th
The purpose of this retrospective study was to investigate survival outcomes and irradiated tumor control (local control [LC]) and locoregional control (LRC) after stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for T1 or recurrent T1 (rT1) kidney cancer. Twenty-nine nonconsecutive patients with 30 tumors were included. SBRT doses of 70 Gy, 60 Gy or 50 Gy in 10 fractions were prescribed with a linear accelerator using daily image guidance. The Kaplan-Meier method was used to estimate time-to-event outcome
SBRT for pulmonary oligometastases from esophageal cancer provided good local control and survival.
