CT is not useful for predicting regional lymph nodal metastases in biliary carcinoma.
An accurate diagnosis of pPV based on morphological features determined by preoperative CT is difficult. However, preoperative CT appears useful for selecting patients with PHC who could be candidates for pancreaticoduodenectomy with or without PV resection.

ExCLNI was present in only 22% of the LNM (7% of overall patients) in patients with surgical treated ExHBDCs. And ExCLNI would have no impact on the survival of patients with surgically-treated ExHBDCs.
