미요모토 타케시 교수의 연구실은 골다공증, 골소견증 등 골 대사 질환의 핵심 세포인 골절해성세포의 분화 및 기능 조절 메커니즘을 단일세포 수준에서 규명하고 있습니다. 특히 골절해성세포와 수상세포의 공통 전구세포에서의 세선화 분화 경로, NFATc1를 억제하는 전사 억제인자(Bcl6, Blimp1), 그리고 세포 간 융합을 조절하는 분자(OC-STAMP, DC-STAMP)의 기능을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 이들의 연구는 골 대사 질환의 새로운 치료 전략 개발에 기여하고 있습니다.
