타쿠야 ヤマモト 교수의 연구실은 HIV-1 감염에서 T세포 및 B세포 면역 반응의 조절 메커니즘을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히, 항체 반응의 유도와 발달, 특히 폭넓은 중화항체(bNAb) 생성에 관여하는 T 편성 도움 T세포(TFH)의 역할, 그리고 CD8+ T세포의 억제성 수용체 표현과 바이러스 부하 간의 연관성을 규명하고자 합니다. 또한, RNA 간섭 기반의 바이러스 억제 전략과 백신 개발을 위한 면역 반응 조절 전략에 대한 기초 연구도 함께 수행하고 있습니다.
