Tatsuya Sugawara 교수의 연구실은 식물 및 해양 생물에서 유래하는 생활학적 활성성 지질, 특히 글리코지질과 세핑골리피드의 정량 및 생리적 기능을 중심으로 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 주요 연구 방향은 해조류 및 해산물에서 추출한 카로티노이드(예: 푸코자잔틴, 아스타잔틴)의 항산화 및 항혈관신생 작용, 그리고 식품 기반 스파링골리피드의 피부 장벽 기능 회복 및 항염증 효과에 대한 메커니즘 규명입니다. 특히, 해조류 유래 지질의 항암 및 세포 사멸 유도 작용에 대한 기전 연구도 활발히 진행되고 있습니다.
