Tomohiko Murakami 교수의 연구실은 관절염 및 골관절 질환의 염증 반응 메커니즘을 중심으로, NLRP3 인플라마소마, ER 스트레스 반응, 염증성 사이토카인의 기능 및 조절을 연구하고 있습니다. 특히, Ca²⁺ 이동, GNB1 단백질, OASIS 전사인자, Sema4D 등이 염증 반응과 연골 파괴에 미치는 영향을 분자 수준에서 규명하고 있습니다. 연구는 주로 면역세포와 연골세포를 대상으로 하여 염증성 질환의 발병 기전을 밝히고자 합니다.
