토모노리 오카무라 교수의 연구실은 고혈압 및 레닌-안지오텐신 시스템의 생리학적 기전에 중점을 두고 있으며, 특히 이완성 고혈압 모델에서 레닌 활성과 엔도텔리얼 효소의 역할을 체계적으로 분석하고 있습니다. 혈관 내에서의 레닌-안지오텐신 시스템 조절 메커니즘과 그가 고혈압 유지에 기여하는 방식을 규명하는 데 핵심적인 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 또한, 일본의 심혈관 질환 예방 전략과 관련하여 콜레스테롤 이상의 선별 필요성에 대한 임상적 고찰도 함께 진행하고 있습니다.

The possible role of the renin-angiotensin system in the maintenance of hypertension in two-kidney, one clip hypertensive rats was studied.
